The following are short specialty workshops programs designed to instruct civilians and law enforcement officers in basic self-protection methods.
PKC Women's Self Protection.( 6 hrs )
The PKC women's defense system is not karate or sport martial arts. PKC is a non-lethal method of self-defense incorporating hand to hand combat,
Kinesics (body language indicators), proxemics (proper distancing), paralinguistics (voice and command inflection), stress management and communication
skills. Also included will be a discussion of using ordinary objects as weapons. The use of chemical sprays, knives and clubs as weapons.
Half-Day Seminar includes some hands on tactics:
a. How to escape from grabs.
b. Pressure points for causing pain to an attacker.
c. Using common objects as a weapon to help you survive and escape
Walking Cane Defensive Tactics (6 hrs.)
The walking cane either straight or crooked stick type makes an ideal defensive tool for the walker or
city dweller against both man and beast. This program teaches methods of using a standard cane to dissuade
even the most determined attacker. The methods of PKC Walking Cane tactics are based upon practical no-nonsense methods
that work. We will tell you what works and what does not so you can be confident in your system. Includes: How to select the best
cane for defense, Defensive blocks, Pressure Point areas for Striking and Jabbing with devastating power.
Street Combat Knife Fighting. (6 hrs)
The use of the folding knife, Bowie, Fairbairn-Sikes and other CQB (Close Quarter Battle) type blades for real life defense in our dangerous world.
This is not a kung fu or martial arts forms class or martial art armchair theory program. These are time-tested methods based on Capt. Painter's 25 years
experience in real life street combat methods. Also covered will be the law and knifes as a self-defense weapon as well as how to defend against a blade
when unarmed. This is realistic training done at combat speeds with safety equipment. Students wishing to participate in this course will be carefully
screened for previous arrest records and moral character. No one under eighteen may register for this course. Highly recommended for Law enforcement,
military and bodyguards. If you are on the street you need to know this information.

Barehanded against Club Tactics. (6 hrs)
This PKC program gives the student a practical, simple, effective method of combating the assailant armed with a club, stick, tire iron or other blunt
instrument. This is not a kung fu or martial arts forms class or martial art armchair theory program. Using the PKC tactical concepts it is possible to
neutralize and disarm a weapon-wielding assailant. The program covers basic tactics for unarmed defense against short, medium and long blunt weapons.

Unarmed Firearm Control Tactics (6 hrs )
A practical unarmed method of dealing with the close proximity subject who has a firearm. When there is no other choice any you must act if you
understand PKC Proxemics and combat tactics you can learn to disarm a firearm wielding assassin before he can pull the trigger. This is not a
kung fu or martial arts forms class or martial art armchair theory program. These are time tested practical, simple methods based on Capt. Painter's 25 years
experience in real life street combat methods. Also covered will be the law and self-defense This is realistic training done at combat speeds with safety equipment.
